I was approached by a member of the Beta Sigma Rho Fraternity to design a book for their chapter in 2024.

He provided me with a few references and lots of content to format and design. Using Adobe InDesign, I worked with the client and the printing vendor to understand the needs of the formatting.

This was a fraternity at Carnegie Mellon (the people featured in it are in their 80s). There are ~100 bios in the book from men who went on to become doctors, lawyers, artists, and engineers. I was a great learning experience to read about them and their families and see how they designed their lives.

Seeing the different paths these men took, in a completely different era of when I grew up, broadened my perspective on what paths in life can look like.

I am grateful to have worked on this book, and I’m happy with how it turned out.
